You
have just moved to Fort Collins from New York City and have all your money in
cash and travelers checks and a couple of bank accounts still in your bank back
east. All that cash is making you nervous and you need to find a place to put
your money that is safe and will give you the best benefits for the dollar.
Today you will research the different banks in town and
find the one that gives you the best interest rate on a money market account.
You need to set up a checking account with the least amount of fees that will
still give you an ATM card. You will need an attached savings account that will
cover any accidental overage in your checking account. You need to research
Certificates of Deposit for amount of months, rates and fees. Finding a safety
deposit box is also important.

Research
the four different banks and all their services. After you have researched each
bank and compared the different rates and fees and services you need to make a
brochure about the bank you have chosen to put all your money in.

Find the bank that has the best
products and rates for each item below
1. checking
2. fees for checks
3. on line banking
4. cd rates
5. savings that can attach to checking account
6. atm card
7. money market
8. safety deposit
Then
create a brochure with the information you have gained that will show why you
made that choice. The brochure needs to be creative and look professional. It
should be able to hand to your client if you worked for your choice of banking
institution.
Below are the four banking
institutions I would like you to research. They are all in the Fort Collins,
Colorado area.
